This is the style I’m 200-hr certified to teach. I spend 4 weeks with Doug for between 8 and 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. The major emphasis was on gentle practices, sometimes with powerful and/or challenging postures, cross-training particularly through mountain hiking, holistic vegan nutrition, and group/community mentality.
The following sequences I teach progressively to new students. Sequences mostly build on themselves, where the next sequence largely resembled the level before it.
Doug’s style is mostly a hybrid of asthanga, vinyasa, Anasura yoga, and Thai chi. He, as I, like to intermix poses ‘from’ other styles in a flowing pattern which evolves.
